50 Things To Do Inside

At this moment in time we are all spending a lot more time in our houses that we are used to. This has taken quite a bit of adjusting, at first it was nice, we had some time to slow down and relax. However, after a while, the novelty wore off and most of us become increasingly bored.

So I started thinking of different activities and ideas to prevent myself from becoming bored and I have decided to share them with all of you.

Here's my list of things to do!

  1. Read a new book – Here are some of my favourites
  2. Start learning to sketch/ draw
  3.  Organise your room 
  4. Create a budget plan
  5. Make a playlist of all of your favourite songs
  6. Organise your photos into albums
  7. Declutter unwanted items
  8. Write a short story or poem
  9. Try out new hairstyles
  10. Fix items you have been meaning to fix but never got around to
  11. Make yourself a bullet journaling
  12. Create your perfect morning routine
  13. Learn to meditate – There are lots of guided meditation videos on Youtube to get you started
  14. Try new recipes
  15. Facetime your friends
  16. Paint your nails
  17. Catch up on your favourite Youtube channels
  18. Have a technology detox
  19. Create a self-care routine
  20. Start journaling – Here is my guide of how to make a stream of consciousness journal
  21. Do some yoga
  22. Watch some Netflix – Need some suggestions? Here are some of my favourites
  23. Have a games night with your family
  24. Learn something new – I use Skillshare as they have a class about anything you could possibly wish for, click here to get two free months of Skillshare
  25. Redecorate your room
  26. Pick out outfits to wear for when we are allowed out
  27. Rearrange your furniture for a fresh space
  28. Do some arts and crafts
  29. Call up a friend or family member you haven’t seen in a while
  30. Start a new challenge – For example no spending, 30 days of yoga/exercise, morning meditations, etc.
  31. Make a game plan to change your life in some way 
  32. Start doing the thing you’ve been putting off (drawing, start a youtube channel or a blog)
  33. Start a gratitude journal to help you stay positive
  34. Make a daily document of what you did and how you were feeling to be able to look back on 
  35. Start or alter your vision board
  36. Have an indoor picnic
  37. Do some research on a topic you are curious about
  38. Make a fort
  39. Learn/try a new DIY – there are thousands of ideas on Pinterest and Youtube
  40. Try going spend free for a week
  41. Set yourself some new goals
  42. Implicate the systems for these new goals into your life
  43. Experiment with indoor photography
  44. Open up your window for some fresh air and just watch the world – sounds silly but is an easy way to relax
  45. Dye your hair – This can be a very fun activity for you to do with siblings or roommates
